Gidday and Kia ora from New Zealand!
 
  I'm a lifelong avian afficionado and garden-variety bird-lover.  My very first bird pets were a pair of Java Temple Birds way back in 1960 who were later joined by budgies, canaries, cockatiels, a Grey-Cheeked Parakeet (GORGEOUS birdie!), magpies, chooks, a rainbow lorikeet, etc.
   Anyway, I just got my first pair of JTBs since the 1960s and I am very keen to learn all the current care recommendations for them.
